At DON’YA Ukraine’s Kitchen, we bring authentic Ukrainian food to weddings, corporate luncheons, holiday parties, community events, and everything in between. We’ve catered over 100 events across Alberta, and we genuinely believe there’s no better way to bring people together than over a table full of food made with real love.
Ukrainian cuisine is built for sharing. It’s hearty, flavourful, and designed to feed a crowd — which makes it a natural fit for catering. When you book DON’YA, you’re getting dishes that are made by hand in our Edmonton kitchen by our team of Ukrainian newcomers, using recipes passed down through generations.
Our catering menu includes some of Edmonton’s most recognized dishes:
Varenyky (Perogies) — Our handmade potato-and-cheese or brisket perogies are the crowd favourite at every event we cater. Boiled or pan-fried, topped with sour cream and caramelized onions, they disappear fast.
Holubtsi (Cabbage Rolls) — Tender cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoned rice and meat, simmered in a light tomato sauce. Comforting, warming, and universally loved.
Borshch — Ukraine’s legendary beet soup, made from scratch with a recipe our kitchen team has perfected over years. Rich, earthy, and topped with a dollop of sour cream.
Seasonal & Specialty Items — Depending on the season and the size of your event, we can work with you to build a custom menu.
We’ve worked with all kinds of clients across Edmonton and Alberta: weddings and engagement parties, corporate luncheons and team events, community festivals, cultural events, fundraisers, school and university functions, and family reunions and milestone celebrations.
